The Cheat Cards
Next up are the good old Cheat Cards. These can be played during a game and the duration of each particular cheat is determined by whether or not it’s a bronze, silver, gold and, in some cases, platinum (the last three cards on the following list only come in diamond). For some of the cards, the duration will be in minutes rather than periods.

The Celebration Cards
One of the all-new features in NHL 2002 is the inclusion of user-controlled celebrations after goals. By pressing the corresponding button, either X, Circle or Triangle, the goal scorer will do the celebration that has been mapped to that button. There are six that are available at the beginner of the game and nine others that are opened up once you get one of the NHL Cards. Unlike the Player Cards and the Cheat Cards, these aren’t used up once you use them.

The Easter Egg Cards
Just as the name suggests, these NHL Cards will open up Easter Eggs in the game. And just like the Celebration Cards, they are not per use cards and are available once they are earned — the particular Easter Egg will need to be turned on in the Easter Egg menu if you wish to use it. All of these cards are only available in Diamond.

The Tasklist
As mentioned previously, the biggest difference between the Cards in NHL 2002 and the ones in Madden NFL 2002 have to do with the Tasklist and how it’s operated. Whereas you could keep earning points for one task in Madden, here you can only earn points for the first time each task is completed in each difficulty level until all of them have been completed.

NHL 2002 Create the Barenaked Ladies
To create members of the Canadian band Barenaked Ladies, enter the following names at the Create Player screen: Jim Creeggan, Kevin Hearn, Steven Page, Ed Robertson, and Tyler Stewart. The database will locate their info and create players that look like the band members.

NHL 2002 Slap Shot Movie Uniforms
Go To custom Teams and pick EA Blades. This uniform is actually the movie uniform of the Charlestown Chiefs from the movie “Slap Shot”.(right down to the shoulder patch!!)Only that it spells Blades not Chiefs. If you enact the team and create players from the movie, The commentators will then use their names in the play by play! Great one for Movie fans!!!

Defeat the Crazy General
The most effective technique is to slow down time and hit him with a full railgun shot; the alternate fire of the railgun; or the alternate fire of the shotgun. However, you must first disable his shield with an EMP grenade. Once done, you will do substantial damage. It will break into a intermission sequence and spiderbots will appear. Kill themm then resume fighting the general. If you have enough Bio Energy, repeat the previous tactic. If not, use the EMP, then the alternate fire of the railgun or shotgun. The shotgun is easier to hit him with, but does less damage. After you inflict more damage, walkers will appear. Destroy them with the method of your choosing (rocket launcher recommended). Then, once again resume the fight with the general. This is his last round, spare no expense. Wear down or use an EMP on his shield, then kill him with massive fire power, or one of the alternate attacks of the railgun or shotgun.

Easy Kills
Enemies that are not Bosses can be killed with the ice pick. One hit and they are down. After about a second you hear the sound of the ice pick breaking their spine.

If you want to control your Spiderbot, then use the icepick

Alternative Dancing Mini-game Ending
When the Governor’s daughter gives you the hand signal, select the button for the hand movement immediately after she gives you the signal. You will do a special dancing move which will get her heart up very fast, if you do it many times in a row. If her heart is big enough when the mini game is over, instead of kissing her hand, you will spin her around and she will then kiss you. Afterwards she will likely give you a present or extremely valuable information.

Easy Money
Reach the rank of Count with any or all nations. Then, go into ship battles with any desired ship. Damage it a lot, but not to the point where it explodes. Keep the ship and go to a port where you are at the rank of Count or higher. Talk to the shipwright. You will get free repairs. You can repair a damaged ship for free and sell it for a lot more.

Easy sea battles
While battling other ships, get in front of them. Get them to chase you, and when your guns are fully loaded, turn, fire, and straighten again. Repeat this until you want to board or their sail falls and they surrender. This is best done when you use grape shot or chain shot.

Easy Specialists
Attack and board a smuggler’s vessel to usually get a specialist (for example, Carpenter, Sailmaker, etc.).

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King Hint: Hidden experience runes
When playing “Minas Tirith - Top of the Wall” and you have defeated all of the siege towers–when you don’t have to worry about the ladders anymore–go towards the stairway to leave. But instead of going down the stairs, go to your left (characters’ right) up the tower and there will be about seven experience runes. They will give you 1,000 experience points each.
